I am wondering how many users who cannot "connect" bother to click the login
window "Help" button.
I suggest this should be a question that we always ask, when replying to any
help or "bug report" requests of this nature.
I also suggest to prepend "workplace" directly into the login screen
workplace "Clinician" (version 1.2.5)
that way we can remove the reference from the help text which I suggest we
replace with the text below:
=============================
*** HELP *** for GNUmed main login screen
Unable to connect to database – PostgreSQL: FATAL: password authentication
failed for user … ?
… the user name and password are {any-doc, any-doc} for public and new GNUmed
databases
Unable to connect to database – could not connect to server?
… mostly this is a case of new users who did not yet install or configure a
database of their own, which you must do before you can connect to anything
other than the public demonstration database, see
