My mistake. CentOS 7-1810

But how do I install scons? That is all I need.

Really? 3.10 went EOL in November 2017.

Many studies conclusively show older kernels bit rot as people not names
Linus patch them.
I do not count what RHEL does as "support". Their "support" is "deny
everything". Or maybe it is that they emotionally support slothful
customers that hate updates.

And we know how well that does not work. Linus flat refuses to mark
any patch as a fix. I share his disdain for those that think they
can tell the difference, or effectively backport.

I do see that"value". Customers never need to update because they are
always on the "latest" release.
I gave up trying to support RHEL customers a long time ago. I'd tell
the customer exactly where their kernel and packages are broken. And
what releases had the needed fixes.
Customer would be told by RHEL that I did not know what I was tlaking
about because the latest release was in us. Big fat scam.
But off topic for gpsd. How do I install scons?
