You misunderstand the question. major device numbers 238 and 510
are dynamically assigned by linux when the matching modules are loaded.
So, not proprietary, dynamic. The only way to know the attached
driver is from your dmesg, or similar.

6MB of source? If the guy that wrote that contacts us here, then I may
look at that. Otherwise way too much work for us to do your debugging
for free. Especially with zero documentation.

Weird. But I see why someone may want a GNSS on an SFP card.

Nothing there about GNSS. No real "details" at all. It points to some doc,
but nothing in that doc about thee GNSS receiver. So, again, not helpful.
I find this very concerning:
