groff's font mechanism has been extended to use font families. For
example, the name of the Times Roman family is `T', thus the fonts are
TR, TB, TI, and TBI. To make your example work with groff, you have
to install an alias
.ftr R TR
before using .fp
Please read the man page of troff(1) or get the latest groff snapshot
from
ftp://ftp.ffii.org/pub/groff/devel/groff-current.tar.gz
and read the groff.texinfo file for better documentation.
