Hi Jeff, Branden,

the index page looks as if some DOS-style system tried to process
U*X-style linefeeds. Once this problem was fixed, everything aligned
smoothly.

Using regexes I could fix everything. See attachments.

I've attached the chapter on the MM macros from the Eroff manual;
everything else I have is bound hardcopy.
Thank you!  Something interesting went wrong on page 5-78.  It looks
_almost_ like someone forgot to run tbl(1)...but not quite.  Normally
when that happens one sees the table format and options bleed into the
text, like box center; l l c.  I think something else is the matter.
