This weekend, I spent a nice time in the home of Jim Blandy in
Bloomington, Indiana. This resulted in GOOPS now being merged into
libguile.
The merge is not completed, since I don't initialize the GOOPS part
until its actually used. In order to do that, some optimizations are
needed in order not to slow down Guile startup significantly.
