Hi Chris !

I know is not the right answer, but I never use the client for
backups. My backups are created from the system at a cron job. From
there, use rsync to securely propagate it to other remote facilities.

But, technically, we must be able to run it from a client too. Could
you please file a bug at Savannah and we'll work on it.
