[help-GIFT] cvs checkin: multiple socket server, part one

Hi,

I just checked in the code needed for running a gift that listens to multiple 
sockets. Currently this is demonstrated by opening two sockets, one on the 
port 12789 and another one on port 12790. As you can see in the code, things 
are fairly generic, and GIFT listening on domain sockets is just a question 
of configuration files and testing tools (i.e. clients).

The next step is handing this information through to the query engines. This 
requires a bit more thinking.

In any case, I would find quite cool if one of you guys out there could test 
the fresh CVS somewhere next week. I can react to your bug reports only next 
week (~18 of feb).
