OK. My latest checkin works on mrml://viper.unige.ch:12789 and
mrml://viper.unige.ch:12790., which means that it *should* work for you, too.
Things have been tested under gcc 2.9.5 and gcc 3.0.3. The test was a connect
and a query. The main improvement with respect to the last few checkins is
concerns stability.
