Hi,

Wolfgang once proposed to include query by segmented regions using MRML.
More info in: http://www.sim.hcuge.ch/medgift/publications/MPM2000.pdf

Otherwise you can simply save the sketch as an image and transmit the image URL via MRML as a query by example query. You will need to think about how to treat the data, though, so the background is not becoming dominant over the actual sketch.

On the MRML pages there are some recommandations with respect to extensions, so you can also propose your extensions for inclusion into MRML if you feel that there are any elements missing.

Cheers, Henning

Hi all.

I'm a postgraduate student at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National Univ. Malaysia) and i think MRML is a brilliant idea.

according to your site MRML is an open framework , i would like to use MRML as a communication languange for my CBIR project. I'm doing some sort of query tool by sketch.

Has anyone proposed a MRML extension for query by sketch? If it is available where can i get it?

Thanks.
