I should have been a little more clear; this is actually what I did. I called:

    lpx_set_int_parm(lp,LPX_K_ITLIM,50)

and in some cases it does not terminate. I also tried higher and lower values, and it still does not terminate. Very odd.

I guess the ideal, maybe in a future release, would be to have a new API routine, lpx_terminate(lp) which would terminate the current call at the next most convenient spot. But I would like to get LPX_K_ITLIM to work with the MIP solver...
