Dear Antonello,

I have written a very simple interface for using GLPK in Python
programs, using the "swig" software for automatically producing the
code.  I made it available in 
  http://www.ncc.up.pt/~jpp/code/python-glpk

I have used it mostly for implementing heuristics for MIP, but is
should work in other contexts as well.

Please send me feedback if this package is useful, and I will try to
improve it and write some documentation.
