Package Updation

Hi,

   I want to update all my packages in XEmacs.  But i will be able to
connect to internet only through proxy.   Can you tell me a way by which i
can tell xemacs that connect to this proxy.

   Also, i should be able to tell some domains for which i should connect
directly (local network).

   Can some one help me ??
