One of the platforms I use emacs on is Mac OS X. The frustrating thing is
that the Alt/Option key doesn't function as Meta, and using the Esc key
kills my efficiency since I learned all the commands using Alt on other
platforms.
How can I get the Alt/Option key to function as Meta?
