suppres message

When I use the following import file construction:

 .add_rules.mk : makefile
        @rm -f $@;\
        ...rules...;\

import .add_rules.mk


I get the first time I run make (since the .add_rules.mk file is not yet there) the message:

"makefile:71: .add_rules.mk: No such file or directory"

Is there any way to prevent this message?
