Hi Paul,
Is this on konsole or gnome-terminal? This only seems to happen
on certain systems and certain terminals...if you'd like to try the
newer version of nano, can you rebuild the source rpm? It should either
be:
rpm --rebuild nano-1.2.1-1.src.rpm
or
rpmbuild --rebuild nano-1.2.1-1.src.rpm
depending on your version of RPM.
