Is there a similar key binding possible in nano?
Sorry, no. Nano can bind keys only to functions/commands,
the keys cannot be made to produce a string.
Not yet, at least. :) Care to post a feature request on
Savannah? -- https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=nano
Or should I post it for you?
