Anyway, when I type controll+w it asks me to save.

Then you are definitely using "modern bindings".  I think
you are not actually using nano-8.1 but nano-8.0, and you
are not actually invoking nano with 'nano -tk', but are
relying on the default Debian 'editor' symlink.

Upgrading to nano-8.1 should fix your problem.

What I think I will do if its ok with
you, I will send my /etc/nanorc privately.

Maybe you already sent it, but I delete any email about
nano that is sent to me personally.
