2) Can you specify the sort should be alphabetic vs numerical or is
it only alphabetical?
It depends on the type of the field. If it is an int, a real or a range
the comparison is numerical. If it is a boolean, it works as expected.
If it is a date, previous dates comes first, and so on...
Forgot to mention that if the type of a field is not specified, or if it
is a text-like type such as "line", the ordering is obviously
alphabetical.
