Thanks for the explanation and for providing a patch for the manual
too. That's good, useful information - I'm sure I will be able to make
it work now.

As I encountered this problem in Fedora Rawhide, I have linked to this
discussion from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=917974

Hopefully it's not too much trouble to have this patch in Fedora and
fixed for F19. :-)
