When I checkout a copy of the source (cvs co -A -r PRE_MERG_REPOS)
from a given tag, when using the -A option. Shouldn't the sticky tags
be removed?
E.g
loki [wrk]$ cvs co -A -r PRE_MERGE_REPOS
...
loki [wrk]$ cvs st client.sh
===================================================================
File: client.sh Status: Up-to-date
Working revision: 1.2.2.3 Fri Oct 27 14:53:48 2000
Repository revision: 1.2.2.3 /dv/jdb/vChat/client.sh,v
Sticky Tag: PRE_MERGE_REPOS (branch: 1.2.2)
Sticky Date: (none)
Sticky Options: (none)
Repository.
------------------------ Trunk (Bad Files)
\ PRE_MERGE_REPOS
What I would like to do is, checkout the files at time of PRE_MERGE_REPOS
then recommit them at the trunk. Is this possible? Currently I cannot commit
because of the sticky *TAG*.
thanks,jb
