not sure what rhosts authentication is
What I want to know is how cvs is being invoked from the client side?I am
sure it is not just setting the CVS_SERVER variable on the client and
.rhosts file on the server....
i have cvs on slack 8.1, and cygwin on win98. using just a line like:
export CVSROOT=:pserver:address@hidden:/home/ray/cvsroot
i was able to get a cvs history and login commands to work.
also, using gnu's wincvs i can get the login and history command to work.
