Jim,
    Maybe you could be more specific.  I assume the FAQ you are referring to is at http://www.wincvs.org/newfaq.htm .  I do not see any information in this FAQ on how to write macros for WinCvs.  There are several instances of the word "macro" in the FAQ, and each instance deals with the usage of a specific macro.

    Are you referring to a different FAQ?

Have you googled on "write wincvs macros"? Oh, look, there's an entry that
points to the FAQ, and looks like it talks about writing macros...
