How to change keyword expansion format

Dear Colleagues,

I am using quite successfully CVS Keywords and the
keyword expansion format and I have some minor
questions on these useul feature:
1) $RCSfile$ is expanded to $RCSfile: myfile.txt,v $.
How can I configure the expanasion so that $RCSfile$
is substituted with $myfile.txt$?
2) $Date$ is expanded to $Date: 2004/06/24 08:25:59 $.
How to configure the expansion so that it become
$Date: 2004/06/24 $?
3) The $Date$ is expanded to the date of the last
commit, which perfectly suits the developers' need.
However, when we make an official source
distribution, we want the $Date$ to be expanded to the
current date. Is there a way the files in the
repository to be touched? Touch is not the exact word,
because we do not want to change the last commit date,
we simply wants when we create distibution $Date$ be
expanded to the current date. Any ideas?

Thank you very much in advance.

Regards Ivan Ivanov
