I'm running cvs 2.0.2 (via WinCVS 1.3) on the client side, and the linux
server has version 1.11.5 running. I'm trying to add a unicode file using
the -ku option, which my wincvs client seems to think is possible, but I
get the following error when I try to do so:
cvs server: invalid RCS keyword expansion mode
Valid expansion modes include:
-kkv Generate keywords using the default form.
-kkvl Like -kkv, except locker's name inserted.
-kk Generate only keyword names in keyword strings.
-kv Generate only keyword values in keyword strings.
-ko Generate the old keyword string (no changes from checked in
file).
-kb Generate binary file unmodified (merges not allowed) (RCS 5.7).
(Specify the --help global option for a list of other help options)
What version of cvs do I need to get running on the server in order for it
to deal properly with unicode files? I know I can add them as binaries,
but that makes life difficult for merging and diffing.
