Folder level security in repository

hi all,
cvs server (pserver)
platform: fedora core 2
cvs version: 1.11.15

cvs client
platform: windows 2000 prof
wincvs version:2.0.2.4

I am having multiple developers working on same
project. I want to provide a security such a that a
perticular developer can access the perticular folder
from repository and can't checkout and commit for
other modules (or folders).

i am new to this list. i tried to get solution on net
but failed.
i also tried the chmod and chacl commands for it but
got some unexpected reponse for it. if i am on right
track i will expect little bit help on that.
