about pserver

when i running pserver, this error is shown. why ?

# cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/var/lib/cvsroot login
Logging in to :pserver:address@hidden:2401/var/lib/cvsroot
CVS password:
/var/lib/cvsroot: no such repository


repository is at /var/lib/cvsroot directory
