tanx!

Many list handlers today include information either in the signature or the email header on how to work with the list handler. With Thunderbird you can see this information by selecting a list email and pressing Ctrl-U, to see Message Source. I think there are ways to do the same thing in other clients, and if you are subscribed to other lists please learn how to use your particular client to see them.

All emails from the list include the following in their headers:
List-Id: Announcements and discussions for the CVS version control system
        <info-cvs.nongnu.org>
List-Unsubscribe: <http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs>,
        <mailto:address@hidden>
List-Archive: <http://lists.gnu.org/pipermail/info-cvs>
List-Post: <mailto:address@hidden>
List-Help: <mailto:address@hidden>
List-Subscribe: <http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-cvs>,
        <mailto:address@hidden>

I believe the one you want is List-Unsubscribe, and the mailto link is the easier if you are still sending and receiving from the account you subscribed from.
Have a Good Day. :)
