-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
- From the Gnus manual:
If a server seems to be unreachable, Gnus will mark that server
as `denied'. That means that any subsequent attempt to make
contact with that server will just be ignored. "It can't be
opened," Gnus will tell you, without making the least effort to
see whether that is actually the case or not.
That might seem quite naughty, but it does make sense most of
the time. [...]
Okay, but my imap server is local (most of the time), and I *really*
don't want to have to go back into the server buffer and force it back
open. It's annoying :-) especially when I walked away for coffee and
came back and found I couldn't even exit an nnimap group....
So, is there some magic flag I can set to tell Gnus to try to reopen
the connection anyway?
regards,
roland
