I use nnspool to read local newspool on my "one person" host.
I prefer to use MANY newsreaders "in parrallel"
So I have used the config below before making "per usenet p.* hierarchy"
exceptions.
(setq gnus-refer-article-method (quote ((nntp "127.0.0.1") current)))
