you should always set a password. If you can create a ring account without 
password, it may be a bug. I have to check that.

migrations are only made when a new version of ring required to update your 
account. In that case a view will be pop when you start ring.

Hi Nicolas,

thanks for your quick reply! I was aware that SFL doesn't keep my passwords. 
But i thought the App-Client does.
Cause i am used, that other Apps (e.g. Skype) would do so. But you are right. I 
also read, that there is no password needed to create an RingID.
