Thank you!

If you really want to build Jami from sources, the documentation is available on Gitlab https://git.jami.net/savoirfairelinux/ring-project/wikis/technical/Build-instructions#how-to-build-jami-easily-and-quickly

Sébastien,

Here is the information you requested.

getCurrentAudioDevicesIndex: ['3', '4', '1']
getAudioOutputDeviceList: ['default',  'Built-in Audio Analog Stereo',  'USB DSP v4 Audio Interface Analog Stereo'] getAudioInputDeviceList: ['default',  'Monitor of Built-in Audio Analog Stereo',  'Built-in Audio Analog Stereo',  'Monitor of USB DSP v4 Audio Interface Analog Stereo',  'USB DSP v4 Audio Interface Digital Stereo (IEC958)']
also, not sure if related:
getAudioOutputDeviceIndex: ('g-dbus-error-quark: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.InvalidArgs: type ' 'mismatch (16)')

regarding F28 EOL - where are instructions for building from source? there is no .src.rpm anywhere in sight.

Thank you,
Josh.

Thank you for the report. I will fix the crash, but I need to understand the origin of the crash.

If you want to provide more details about your crash, you can do the following:

1. Launch the daemon (usually `/usr/lib/ring/dring -d -c`)

2. Launch `d-feet` (a tool to interact with dbus), in "Session Bus" you can see "cx.ring.RIng"

3. And send me the outputs for:

getCurrentAudioDevicesIndex() in ConfigurationManager (just click on the method and then the "execute" button)

Same for getAudioOutputDeviceList() and getAudioInputDeviceList()

Also, unfortunately, the fixed revision will not be available on Fedora 28 because F28 EOL has been reached last week. I recommend you to upgrade your Fedora.

Have a nice day,

Sébastien.
