Ah, a much cleaner alternative. (I'm still new to this autoconf
mess.) I like it, unless of course it causes FreeBSD 5 to barf. I
suspect it won't, though, since darwin has both unistd.h and getopt.h,
and unistd.h has nothing to say about getopt.
