I know this isn't what you want to hear, but there seems to be a problem 
with libcdio-paranoia in git.  It installed cdda.h into 
/usr/local/include with the following line in paranoia.h:

#include <cdio/paranoia/cdda.h>

This resulted in the following error when trying to include paranoia.h:

/usr/local/include/cdio/paranoia.h:18:32: fatal error: 
cdio/paranoia/cdda.h: No such file or directory
