[libredwg] Thumbnail Filetype

hello,

i pulled the latest version of libredwg and installed it as described
here: http://libreplanet.org/wiki/LibreDWG

when i try to get the preview bitmap i get
> Success! See the file 'example.bmp'

but the created example.bmp seem to be no bmp-file:
> address@hidden ~/src/libredwg/examples (git)-[master] % file example.bmp
> example.bmp: data

what image-format is the resulting example.bmp
