I do not think that the api.h should be copied into the dwg.h file. The user should not have access to the dwg.h file and the internal structs. The object system that libredwg uses is something that needs some redesign, like you mentioned on your ideas page.

Hi, the simplest and recommended way, I think, would be the user having to include only the <dwg.h> file.

It would be optional to the user to access dwg data directly from the structures or from the api functions. The api documentation would not recommend direct access to the structures, but if the user wants, no problem.
