In R2010 and R2013 there are no need to use the Reed-Solomon algorithm, they are based closely to versions R2004, with some other stuff from R2007, but no fancy encoding. I think there's a post about these moves from AutoDesk here, but I don't remember where...

I was trying to decode R2010, but I have an issue, where to get the string chain for the header variables section. Anyone can help on this with more informtation?

I notice that Alex Papazoglou submitted a patch that expedites
Reed-Solomon encoding and decoding for DWG R2007 files.

Does this mean libredwg is now capable of reading these files? If so,
then the Libreplanet wiki needs to be updated.

That page also suggests that we don't have information for R2010 and
R2013 DWG formats, but I believe that the latest ODA document
describes these.

If I understand correctly, the changes between R2007 and R2010 are
quite minor, so does this give us the capability to read R2010 files?
