I did, but you had not yet added a key sentence (and certainly I had not
been paying enough attention to what the script did! ;-)):
This will copy the source code for the @lightning{} back ends
into the @file{lightning} directory of your package.
Actually, I had been wondering what difference there is between
`lightningize' and `aclocal'. Now I understand.
So does this mean that bundling Lightning along with one's package is
the recommended way?
