I just upgraded to the most recent cvs version and everything works fine now. I hadn't done that before, because it made the installation of autoconf 2.13 necessary. Cause I only had 2.5 I just checked that part of the source for difference and assumed the problem would persist. Sorry for the inconvenience. How about an upgrade to autoconf 2.5 ? regards Klaus
