I agree that the 1.6 behavior is a great idea.  I use it on my
website, too.

Each score?  I agree with this, too.  I typically write in parts, and
I've been putting each part in a separate lily file, but I'd like to
switch to having them all in one file, but then I can't use the
--preview feature.
