Hmm, I've compiled guile 1.6.0 directly from the tarball, and there is
no such library.  I only get

  libguile-srfi-srfi-4-v-1.la
  libguile-srfi-srfi-13-14-v-1.la
  libguilereadline-v-12.la
  libguile.la

Thus it seems to be a bug in guile 1.6.0.  Will try a newer version.
