I have not tested it since gcc-3.1 was removed from debian.  gcc-3.1
is really too broken.  Can you use 2.95 or 3.2 ?

Can you try what happens if you omit the massaging of FlexLexer.h?
(I've checked-in a version of the script that skips that.)
