In the current CVS directory it says:
(PACKAGE_NAME): VERSION release 2.7.8
When compiled it reports that it is v2.7.9. A similar thing happened
when patch-level hit 2.7.7. When compiled, LilyPond claimed that it was
version 2.7.8.
While this probably isn't a real problem it looks odd to me.
