I got to know about it from this page:

But that page just contains part of the information, I did some readup 
on MSDN on how MFC serialize classes as well.

Note that this is the trick that I use:

So what I tried to do is just try to define the exact classes 
(structures) as defined in MFC by Powertab, and let the engine (which 
mimics MFC serialization) does all the work.
