Reading through that page I don't see any options that look like
helping with this problem.

I thought

line-width
line-width=size\unit

Set line width to size, using unit as units. unit is one of the
following strings: cm, mm, in, orpt. This option affects LilyPond output
(this is, the staff length of the music snippet), not the text layout.

Might use a different mechanism and provide what was needed.


I don't think so.
If _that_ would enable line-width to work differently than in plain LilyPond, why isn't there an option to let LilyPond itself include the system bracket etc. in the line-width?

BTW, I think this question has popped up occasionally, and IIRC there wasn't a satisfying solution.
