what about using tshark/wireshark to extract the remote party video/audio stream and send it to VLC so that VLC can cast the content towards a chromecast ? Would that work ? Did anyone succeed to do so ?

Is there a way to capture the remote party video/audio stream in order to cast it to a Chromecast ? If there would be a kind of URL available for the call, then simply calling VLC would do, but I am not sure such a URL to be available ? Any bright idea that would not be too complex to get working ?
