While fixing the script I noticed that for some reason Pootle creates an 
additional .po with <lang> suffix. For example, in
https://chapters.gnu.org/export/mediagoblin/mediagoblin/i18n/ru/LC_MESSAGES/
it created "mediagoblin.ru.po". Which looks like a duplicate to me.

I think that we could move all our <lang>/LC_MESSAGES/mediagoblin.po files to 
their <lang>/LC_MESSAGES/mediagoblin.<lang>.po. Am I right?

I also don't quite understand how to add new languages. Suppose I want to add 
Tigrinya language. What should I do?
