Just to be clear, I think that currently this issue cascades to *all*
the python dependencies, so modifying waitress alone won't help. I'm
working on a broader fix to MediaGoblin so we can stick to `inputs` only.

Currently I'm aiming to make a modest 0.12.0 release in a matter of
days to publish some useful bug-fixes.
Beyond that I'm currently prioritising general improvements to
MediaGoblin like bug fixes, improving docs, simplifying installation and
helping people over new feature development.
The guix packaging effort is running in parallel when time allows -
important but not urgent.
