Okay; thanks. I've just ported a few other minor bits from DB's patch in,
though.
In nanomiscbugs.patch:
* minor reworking of read_file() to remove two redundant
instances of "Read %d lines" that didn't use ngettext()
since the %d value was always 0 (if it's a new file, don't
display "Read %d lines"; otherwise, load the file into the
filestruct normally only if totlines isn't 0, instead of
doing the test for totlines' being 0 beforehand, and
displaying "Read %d lines" and exiting if totlines is 0)
* disable SIGSTOP so ^S doesn't halt nano until ^Q
* do emergency save on SIGTERM as well as SIGHUP (and
update the manual to show this)
* minor fix for justification of punctuation just before
bracket characters (with those characters i18nized)
In nanodocs.patch:
* a few more miscellaneous typo and comment fixes
Are these additional changes all right, or am I going too
far? I'll test them and the original changes some more, in any case; they do
seem to be working in my preliminary testing, though.
