hi there,
i have noticed that on SUN machines (sparcv9-sun-solaris2.8), nano-1.2.1 seems
to add extra space characters on the screen when typing at the beginning of a
line; but the saved file is OK.
i will give a walking example, showing whats on the screen and what is saved.
- start a blank file, and type the following
this is a file
- then go to the beginning of the line and start typing any key, here i press
the `a' key 10 times:
ON SCREEN
aaaaaaaaaa this is a file
SAVED IN FILE
aaaaaaaaaathis is a file
ON SCREEN there is a cursor just after the set of a's and one also before the
`t' in `this'
This does not happen on GNU/Linux.
cheers,
Sam
